Visual Representation
by: Michael Steffes
Words can only do so much to describe something like a mini camp. Sometimes pictures and videos do a lot more. If that is something you might dig, let me direct you the teams home page www.seahawks.com. They have a cool little slideshow from todays activities, as well as interviews with Julius Jones and Red Bryant. Its great stuff, for those who can't get enough. END

More on Lo Jack
by: Michael Steffes
Lawrence Jackson, obviously making a quick stop back in LA before the mini camp starts was on NFLN Total Access last night. Thanks to Tom for alerting me.
Here is the link to the video, so you can check it out. The Trojans were the stars of draft day, having a cool 10 players picked. Rivers and Jackson both talk a lot about how USC and Pete Carroll have prepared them to play in the NFL. They caution people not to sleep on the USC crop from this year. They expect to make contributions right away.
By the way.... Great Suit Lo Jack! That is how he rolls. END

If you don't get NFLN, you probably missed this. They have showed it several times, but it is interesting. Basically, it is a look inside the Cowboys war room while they are in the process of trading up into the Seahawks pick. I think it is interesting to see how it goes down, even if it is from Jerry Jones point of view. HERE IS THE LINK.

With the 233rd overall pick, the Seattle Seahawks select...
by: Chris Sullivan
...Running Back Justin Forsett from California! He had a pretty good year in 2007, and is more a Mo Morris type back than he is an Alexander guy. He's apparently got good character, and didn't have too much of a chance at Cal due to another RB named Marshawn Lynch. The guys on NFL Network just said he is a "Brian Westbrook kind of guy" with a chip on his shoulder. I really like this pick, and so did those fellows. I imagine he'll be a practice squad guy this year, unless we deal Morris elsewhere or decide to make him our special teams RB. He's rated 55 by Scouts.com and is very small -- 5' 8" and 194 lbs... we shall see what happens with him!

He was the "pooch punter" and botched this one... pretty hilarious reaction.
