The focus so far today has been on running backs. Michael Bush, who recently visited Seattle, is now off the market after signing a four year, $14 million deal with the Bears. Pairing him with Marshawn Lynch would have been exciting, but nobody wants to pay a backup RB $3+ million per season. I suppose the Seahawks could've taken the rest of the day off to pout about losing out on Bush, but instead they've brougnt in another running back for a visit, former Packer and Buccaneer Kregg Lumpkin. Lumpkin hasn't made much of an impact in his four seasons in the NFL (he spent most of 2008 on injured reserve and all of 2009 on Green Bay's practice squad), but he's only 27, can be signed on the cheap, and his name looks hilarious on paper.
More updates will be added as they come in.
