It was a poor game early by the Seahawks and they just dug themselves too deep a hole to really have a shot at the end. At least it wasn't a completely embarrassing score though...
IT WAS weird but nice season....prayers to to tru and jc.........
looking forward to draft and f/a(plus hopeful for new cba)
if possible where is the seahawk pick in 1st round btwm 21 to 27
Sign former USC Trojan and 2 time Pro Bowl center Ryan Kalil, you can't tell me he'd rather return to the Panthers.
Final R-rated thread...
But it's not. It was a good year, afterall.. Godspeed to Tru and JC.
As the other posters said, here's to a good FA and draft.
Where we did lose the killer draft pickin slot, we gained with team experience. In both winning a HUGE game, and in losing one.
We gained in the ability to attract some big time FA's now. I don't think that any players will view signing with the Hawks as a losing proposition as I am sure they did when The Mora / Ruskill regime was in power. Only money grubbers (Housh) came. Not for the love of the game, but rather the love of the mighty dollar.
I feel that will be different now, and that players will want to be a part of something new going on here in S. Alaska.
I predict that whoever is at QB next year, the team will be tough to deal with.
Now, this new forum... not sure what I think of it yet.
So to the fair weather and bandwagon fans, we will see you next year.
To all of the locals, see ya soon as we begin the annual draft discussion which this year, will be a total crap shoot. I think we'll be picking in the 25 slot? or something like that. I think that's the perfect place to grab an O-lineman perhaps, or maybe to grab that free-faller like Aaron Rogers... or Randy Moss...
Isn't there always somebody like that?
Marcus was out cold, obvious when his arms stayed in defend mode when he was laying there. Concussion, would be out next week even with a W.
Carlson I'm not sure, but his hands/arms were moving and was talking to the med staff on the cart so "hopefully:" it was more precaution than anything.
As far as players of the future, dunno. Maybe hopefully NFL in the future (next year anyway) is higher up on the list.
Prayers to John and Marcus -
I agree, a much different game once John fell out. It greatly reduces the playbook.. But truth be told the key HURT was all the dropped passes.
I'll miss #8. I am of the camp that Hasselbeck finishes his career in Cleveland and Seattle starts working it out with the next franchise guy. Maybe it's Whitehurst, maybe it's the guy we take in the 4th, 6th, 7th. Who knows, but we need to begin the next chapter. Here's to a productive off-season.
Wish we would have had Carlson the entire game, coulda been different w/ tht and a 4:00 est start imo. Either way, i still love the offseason. Lets pray for a new CBA and some great signings through F/A and an amazing draft.
