The Seahawks will be playing their fifth road game of the season today against the Lions. Will Richard Sherman and the rest of the secondary be able to contain Calvin Johnson and Brandon Pettigrew? Can Wilson and his receivers put up some points against a suspect Lions secondary? Does Detroit have enough healthy defenders left on the roster to put eleven guys on the field?
Maxwell, Jones, Baldwin, and Moffitt are all inactive, which isn't too terribly surprising, but so are Braylon Edwards and Jaye Howard. Apparently Edwards woke up this morning with a swollen knee that required fluid to be drained and the coaches decided not to risk it, but as far as I know Howard is healthy. If he's inactive despite Jones being unavailable, does that mean he's not performing up to expectations, or does it just mean they like Greg Scruggs better at this point?
For the Lions, CB Bill Bentley and LB DeAndre Levy have joined CB Jacob Lacey on the inactive list. That's three defensive starters who are missing the game due to injury.
