The timing of Richard Sherman's appeal - Mike Sando
No word yet on if a decision will come down that day or be pushed out further. I can see the league holding off until Monday on a decision to protect the brand for the Sunday primetime game. I do not see the Hawks being very competitive Sunday without Sherman in the game.
Your thoughts?
Sherman is a game changer....having him and Browner both out is a huge blow... I think that His plan, and the Teams hopes are to push this off until Browner comes back so only one of the top two are out at a time....Having this happen in the playoffs time frame is going to suck! Could his lawyer get his suspension pushed back to start of next season? I wonder....
I agree with you, Matthew. Too much ad revenue at stake for the game on Sunday, so expect Sherman to play.
@MikeRoddy As much as I'd like to take credit for saying that, it was Jim Mitchell who wrote it, not me. He and David Lee are recent additions to the site -- the two of them will be trying their hands at writing some "Morning Links"-style posts to give everyone more things to discuss throughout the week.
