After just one appearance on the field after serving a one-game suspension, LB Leroy Hill will miss even more time.
The troubled linebacker sustained an injury to his Achilles tendon during Sunday's game in Denver, and coach Pete Carroll has said he'll miss "significant" time. No further details have been released, but given his recent track record, Hill should probably start packing his bags. The effective trio of Aaron Curry, Lofa Tatupu and David Hawthorne makes Hill expendable, as does the presence of capable backup Will Herring. There's almost no reason to keep an overpaid, injury-prone police-blotter magnet on the roster at this point.
