How do the Seahawks take down the AFC West leading Chiefs?
- Score early. The best way to stop the dominant running game of the Chiefs is to force them to go away from it. With Trufant, Jennings and Thurmond all healthy this week, I'm not too concerned with Matt Cassel or Dwayne Bowe. Force the Chiefs away from their strengths and we have a good shot.
- Get a lead, then be balanced. The Seahawks need to get Beast Mode running effectively, and something tells me that after last week's embarrassing performance, we're finally going to see Lynch go ape-schmidt-wacky. We need to be able to run effectively and control time of possession IF we in fact can get an early lead.
- Find a Wide Receiver. Is there any chance that Mike Williams plays today? Yes. But it's hard to say that its likely. Probably about 25% realistically, despite being Questionable (50%). Ben Obomanu needs to have a huge game today and he's proven in recent weeks that he is capable of doing just that. Deon Butler needs to show up too... but this could be the Welcome-to-the-NFL-Party for Golden Tate, who is expected to be back after having his best game as a pro in the blow-out loss to the Raiders.
