Thanks to this great article by Brian McIntyre of NorthWestFootball.net, the Seahawks reportedly "Secretly Approached" Australian Rugby star, Greg Inglis, to join the team recently. Greg declined to join. One has to wonder what the secret approach was since the secret is already out.

Below is a direct quote from Brian's article:

The 6-5, 238-pound Inglis has been described as a potential kick returner, but tight end/h-back on offense or outside linebacker on defense would appear to be positions better suited for his size, speed, and the positions he's played (centre, fullback, winger) during his rugby career.

In addition, according to the article, Greg Inlis was also approached by the Denver Broncos and the New York Jets.

General Manager John Schneider has been quoted in the past as saying that,

"There is not one stone that we will not look under."

It seems that the Seahawks' "WIN NOW" approach has some creativity flowing.

I really like seeing these type of articles. I have never seen the Seahawks be so creative with their approach to a season.
