QB Charlie Whitehurst, San Diego Chargers 3rd QB, is considering an offer from the Hawks and the Cardinals. Within the next day or so, he will make his choice
per Steve Wyche of NFL.com. San Diego has restricted rights on Whitehurst requiring a third round pick if any team tries to sign him. The Hawks discussed other forms of compensation that have met guidelines approved by San Diego. The Cardinals currently have two third round draft choices.
