Here's the scoop, per Adam Schefter's Twitter.

If this visit is to hammer out an offer sheet, as Schefter says, I'd be fairly shocked if Marshall leaves Seattle without signing.

He may be a bit of a loose cannon, but I can see a change of scenery being the key to get him back in line. Besides, we now have a hole to fill at wide receiver, and there simply is not a more talented free agent the Seahawks could target for the position right now.

I just really hope that they're working out a deal with the Broncos to trade the #40 pick. If the Seahawks are intent on making it a 1st rounder, they at the very least should negotiate a conditional first that turns into a later pick if Marshall gets suspended.
Next years first round pick?

I read also they can trade next years first round with an additional mid-round pick from this season like a 2nd or a 3rd. I could do that also, we will see.

I could see our #6 but they in return give us their second rounder. Or #40 with some players attached. Either way sounds good to me!

I hope he leaves without signing

If he signs we lose our #6 pick. I do hope we can work out a trade but I think a #6 is too high.
What a Waste

People, people, people, hawks need an o-line, a QB, a RB, and a defense. Hawks shouldn't waste a top draft pick on a WR that has discipline issues. Sure Marshall is amazing, but the same was considered about TJ, and what did he do for us last year?
This would be incredible

You just DON'T get an opportunity to add a 25-year-old top 5 WR in free agency. Never. Thank god for Josh McDaniels.

Clancy- Housh is in his 30's and had never been proven as a true #1. He's a VERY good #2 though, brandon marshall on the otherhand is young and in his prime, and has PROVEN production as a #1 receiver with our current offensive coordinator.

That's right. Housh is a solid #2. Since the days of Darrell Jackson there as not been valid #1 playmaking WR. With Brandon Marshal that gives us a guaranteed wide open TJ Houshmanzadeh. I can see TJ smiling now!

#6 is too much for Marshall! I would think the deal is fair if any of the following trades can be made with Denver:
Marshall = #40/Branch
Marshall/2nd = #14/Branch

or even
Marshall/2nd = #6

maybe even
Marshall/3rd = #14
Hell no to 6!!!!!

... I'm okay with 14! on another note- very good to see managment mean business!

I would be excited about a trade like this.
Marshal and Denver's current 1st, for Branch and Seattle's first at #6.

This is the same Point value diff basically on the chart as LV Hawks Fan listed but keeps the hawks with two firsts and a second instead of a first and two seconds. The actual difference is seeing the Hawks choose at #11, #14, #40 versus the Hawks Picking at #6, #40, #45. Either way I think the Hawks should try to come out with 3 picks in the top two rounds. If they do that and add marshall it will be a huge success

Crazy news. I did not think the rumors and rumblings earlier in the offseason would actually have this much truth to them. I would like to see Marshall in Neon and Blue but without an O Line protecting Matt, rookie QB, or any QB for that matter, this deal will be a complete waste. There has to be a bigger plan in place and I sure hope to hell there is. As for what I think would be a fair trade here if the Hawks and Broncos can negotiate, i wouldn't mind giving a 2nd, 2011 pick, and a player like Branch or a linebacker like Hill for Marshall. A first just seems like too much to give up straight across, especially since it appears it has to be OUR original pick, which is number six.

Housh is and never will be Marshall... as long as we aren't trading the farm... oh yeah... and Senecas loses his number

breaking news according to AZ sports talk is that Boldin has been dealt to Baltimore for a 3rd and 4th round pick and the Cards part with their 5th rounder. Another "Hawk Nuisance" that is out of the division.
