According to Danny O'Neil at the Seattle Times, Reggie Williams was cut today, possibly ending his NFL career. It seemed Reggie was always struggling to catch up with the other wide receivers on the team. Mike Williams was always in the media limelight, while Reggie was rarely talked about.
Victor James, another wide receiver, was also cut today. Both of these cuts were needed to make room on the roster after the signing yesterday of fourth round draft picks EJ Wilson and Walter Thurmond.
