The Seahawks have claimed Safety Kevin Ellison a day after the San Diego Chargers released him. Ellison has had some drug issues in the past but if he stays clean, unlike LenDale White, he may stick around till the end of summer.

The Seahawks officially announced the hiring of Scot McCloughan, who will work in the personnel department with a title of Senior Personnel Executive. According to the official press release from the Seahawks, "Scot will assist General Manager John Schneider and Vice President of Football Operations Will Lewis in all aspects of building the roster".
