Two pieces of good news for the Seahawks:
- Brandon Graham, the 13th overall selection in the draft, was signed tonight by the Philadelphia Eagles. Free Safety Earl Thomas was selected by the Seahawks with the very next pick in the draft, so if all sides are being fair, it should be pretty easy to get Thomas into training camp on time. That is excellent news.
- The Redskins are making a major push to get Trent Williams signed prior to Friday morning's training camp. This matters becuase Trent Williams was the #4 pick and is an offensive tackle... sound familiar? The Seahawks #6 overall pick Russell Okung plays the very same position! If Williams signs, it will be much easier for the Seahawks to get Big Russ into camp on time. After watching Aaron Curry miss the first eight days of training camp last year, I am eager to have everyone in there as early as possible in 2010. My guess is you guys are feelin' me.
