John Schneider just said on the ol' Brock and Salk show that the Seahawks grabbed a snapper off waivers today. As Brian McIntyre quickly tracked down (as in, less then 3 minutes) that snapper is Clint Gresham from TCU:
A 6-3, 236-pounder from TCU, Gresham made eight special teams tackles over three seasons, and was the only long-snapper to score an invite to the 2010 Scouting Combine.
Matt Overton is the only other long-snapper on the Seahawks' roster. A corresponding transaction will be required to add Gresham to the 80-man roster.
