Quick Updates

We all should have a great read either later today or tomorrow from our very own Seahawk Addict writer Mike Parker. Mike is currently watching the Seahawks practice today in Renton. So far we have heard that the Hawks are in full pads and Mike is excited. From Mike himself, "Mike Parker @ Seahawks Training Camp: Earl Thomas is unbelievable." Stay tuned for more!

Owen Schmidt is off of the PUP list and practicing today. That was short lived.

LB Aaron Curry also stayed out of practice today due to being banged up yesterday. Probably all those nasty hits without full pads. [UPDATE: Curry was held out with headaches, according to Greg Johns.]

Seahawks announce S James Brindley released to make room for Earl Thomas. Earl signed that nice contract earlier today. You can see some photos of him signing his contract here.

Danny O'Neil of the Seattle Times has a great article on why Okung is held up with signing his whopping contract.
