The Hawks ain't there, but it's still a big day. We're taking your picks today, and there's a quasi-prize that goes to the best pick. Whoever is closest to the actual final score (must have correct team winning) will get a post on Seahawk Addicts telling the community what you would do this offseason if you were GM. Who would you draft? Who would you trade? Free agent signings? Et cetera. The soap box will be yours, so take your picks wisely.

Here's what I want to know:

  1. Winning team
  2. Final score
  3. What you're doing for the game
  4. What you're eating for the game
Here's mine:
  1. Colts
  2. 34 - 24
  3. Heading over to Mother-in-Law's house and binge-eating
  4. Pulled chicken sandwiches, chicken wings, leftover salmon, possibly nachos.
Your turn!

If Dwight Freeney is able to play effectively:
Colts 35, Saints 21

If he can't:
Saints 42, Colts 31

Just me and the wife in front of the big screen, hiding from the rest of my family, especially my brother-in-law, an obnoxious Niners fan. He is often a complete a**hole to watch football with no matter who is playing.

My wife's homemade chicken and dumplings, which she will only make 1-2 times a year, usually on my birthday. I could eat that stuff 1-2 times a week :-)

Saints (Heath Evans is active + Mark Brunell on the bench - I'm well over .900 effective using the "whichever-team-with-more-ex-Seattle-players-on-it's-roster-wins-it-all" formula, in all 3 major pro sports championships games. Colts have zero ex-Hawks on their roster - they will sorely miss JForce by day's end...)

ex Seahawks on roster:

Saints: 1 (Heath Evans)
Colts: 0

Track it and see, ladies and gents, track it and see.

Has been near completely accurate since the Oakland A's won a world championship by starting 5 or 6 ex-Mariners in the earthquake series in the late 80s. Cuts across all pro sports.

Whichever team has the most former Seattle pro players in uniform, wins. Include former members of minor league affiliates/training camp fodder/practice squads. First tiebreaker is former coaches/former players now coaching, second tiebreaker is former Huskies.

Any nerds wanna run the numbers for us?

Or, my wife is nearly as accurate choosing by relative cuteness of uniform colors and which team has more players whose names are fun to say...either way, it's nearly 100% accurate.
