The article says that Roderick weighs at 274. I recall this kid weighing around 250-255 when he came into the league. That's a significant weight gain, if it's true.

Regarding UFL... So what, if he can play he can play. Kurt Warner came from the UFL. Ricky Williams played there too, he turned out OK when he went back to Miami. Only point here, is we don't know enough about anyone or what the staff needs him for, to make such negative assumptions.

He came from the UFL, not the CFL as you mentioned Warner and Ricky Williams had played in. Just wanted to let you know you are wrong, and they are definitely, clearly, not the same league.

Any chance the 'Hawks go after Julius Peppers? They've shown the willingness to spend on a big-name DE at least twice before.
