Kerney Possibly Retiring?

According to Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio, Patrick Kerney, Seahawk's DE, recently had a retirement party for himself. Patrick was suppose to have surgery on his elbow when the season ended and that would be about the 3rd year in a row he has had an injury requiring surgery. It is highly unlikely that the Seahawks will pay him his $5.15 million dollar salary this season so assumptions are to believe Mike on this one. Kerney had a great first and second year but then pretty much was plagued by injuries after that. That is one reason the Falcons chose not to resign him.
