Jeremy Bates is your new OC [Updated]

Mort's got the story. Is he dating Pete Carroll? He's been all over this from the start:

Reported to ESPN that Jeremy Bates decided to definitely join Carroll in Seattle as OC and bypass Bears, in part because of longer security.

Chow and Carroll don't get along, so I suppose that never made a lot of sense. Bates it is!

Update: Ken Norton Jr. reported by ESPN as a member of Carroll's staff. Yeah!!! That's a huge, huge win for the Seahawks.
