Another Free Agent Added

I like this, signing up and comers or guys with some hunger. Why not i mean you could always find that diamond in the ruff. besides he might be better than what we have right now, who knows at least its some competition.

Apparently he was with the Ravens for a bit, and also was speaking to/planned to work out with the Rams, Jets and Pats. He'll be an interesting story line to watch.

Ricky Foley had 51 tackles and 12 sacks for the BC Lions. He was the defensive sack master for the entire CFL. He is small for a DE, but freak'n fast with a lot of moves. I don't know what type of alignment the BC Lions play. Ricky Foley is 6'2 at 245lbs, a Nick Reed stature. He could be something special or just camp fodder. With our new GM aboard and Pete Carroll having a knowledge for talent this could be just the beginning of great things to come.

This kind of kid can bring a lot to the table. I see a lot of versatility.

Holy Crap Batman! The guy chases running backs down on the other side of the field from where he's lined up at the DE potition. He ran a 4.53 at the combine. He played MLB, TE, FB, and was a special teams demon.

He looked good catching the ball as a TE as well as running the ball as a fullback. Of course, you have to look at the competition and the fact that he's a bit small at 6' 2" and 245 lbs but with his multiple skill set, Carroll might be able to find something for him to do. Who knows where he might end up. 245 lbs is good size for a LB or FB.

Love it. Free agency is still weeks away and we're signing guys already. Pete Carroll is already signing players like Foley that other teams are interested in. Maybe with Pete Carroll here and the other obvious enticements (VMAC, Paul Allen as Owner, etc.), Seattle will have players wanting to come here and play.

A rebuild through special teams. Bringing in young players who are not starters, but can improve and make big impacts for our special teams unit, while providing ample competition.

I like this approach, lets see more of it.

The videos show how slow the game he is used to is. We'll see how he adjusts to the speed of the NFL.

I'm not impressed to be quite honest. His size makes it hard for me to believe that he's being considered as a true DE competitor. Probably ST at best, but I'm okay with that. I get he's Reed's size, but he is not on Reeds level. Just my opinion though.
