RB Heights and weights

This coming from @MovetheSticks; just a brief FYI - measurements are written as such: 6014; the first number is feet - 6 feet. Second two are inches - 01 inches; the last number is eighths of an inch, 4/8 or 1/2. 6014 = 6'1"1/2:

  • Jahvid Best - California - 5101, 199 lbs
  • LeGarrette Blount - Oregon - 6004, 241 lbs
  • Toby Gerhart - Stanford - 6000, 231 lbs
  • Jonathan Dwyer - Georgia Tech - 5112, 229 lbs
  • Ryan Matthews - Fresno State - 5115, 218 lbs
  • Joe McKnight - USC - 5113, 198 lbs
  • CJ Spiller - Clemson - 5105, 196 lbs

I think Blount is moving up the board pretty quick. I'd be surprised to see him there in the 4th round. He'd be a 1st rounder if not for his punch. If he is there I really hope we grab him. The guy is a monster!

If that dude's head and body are okay, he's a better back than any of the others. But I remember the play he got hurt during and wonder if he'll ever be the same.

BEN TATE BEN TATE BEN TATE!!! he has great size, 5-11, 220 pounds, has the attitude saying hes a great RB has great speed and acceleration, knocks defenders on their @$$, can juke, doesnt waste time in the backfeild, can pass block, reads blocks well, runs with power and wants to be the best and always gives full effort, no off feild troubles that ive heard of, and he would most likely be there in the fifth round... we neeeeeed to take him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Are you kidding me?! Ben Tate with great speed and acceleration? Have you even seen him play ball? This guy is not that fast. He is a north south runner and lacks agility and shiftyness. He's not impressive. I would take Spiller, Best, Dwyer, Matthews, McKnight, Johnson, Blount, Gerhart, or Scott before I'd take Tate.
