According to sources at the CanadaFootballchat.com website, DE Ricky Foley has been released by the Seahawks. Foley was signed on earlier this year in the hopes that he'd be able to play the "Leo" position in Pete Carroll's defense.
Unfortunately, Foley never really did anything at practices or in games. Since the Seahawks are letting him go this early, you have to appreciate Schneider and Coach Carroll allowing Foley to try and get signed on with another team before the final cuts later in the week, or sign back on with the CFL
