Danny O'Neil is reporting that safety Lawyer Milloy has chosen to reunite with former coach Pete Carroll, signing a one-year deal today that keeps him a Seahawk.
Despite the fact that Milloy is now 36, he still appeared to have a lot left in the tank when he took the field in place of Brian Russell last year. Now that the Seahawks have drafted a promising young talent in Earl Thomas, Milloy can serve as both a perfect mentor for him, as well as a reliable veteran for the team.
This is a great move for the front office, and further solidifies the Seahawks' secondary. With Jerry Gray helping these guys play better, the future is looking brighter already.
