Hey Addicts.

Here's ten things I predict will happen Sunday when the Seahawks play the Rams as promised. I'm putting my blatant homerism to the test and putting my recent annoyance over the bad rap Seattle has been getting in the power polls to good use fueling my bold predictions. Here we go:

1) The Seahawks will get at least 4 sacks.

2) Mora will run at least one trick play.

3) The Seahawks will come out of the game +2 or better in turnovers.

4) Hass will enjoy a quarterback rating of at least 100.0.

5) The Seahawks running backs will gain at least 100 yards on the ground.

6) The Seahawks receivers will gain at least 250 yards through the air.

7) Locklear will give up at least one sack.

8) Houshmandzadeh will lead the Seattle receivers with Carlson Second.

9) Tatupu will lead the defense in tackles with Curry second.

10) The Seahawks will win by more than 10 points. My prediction: Seahawks 31 - Rams 17

11) (Bonus Selection) The 49'ers will beat the Cardinals Sunday in Arizona. Seattle and San Francisco share the division lead until next week where it gets decided who gets the early NFC West lead. I'll tell you next week who gets it before Sunday.

Agree or disagree.

The Seahawks have been pretty much slammed in the power polls being ranked as bad as the 12th best team in the NFC and essentially being placed just above the Lions and Rams. I strongly disagreed with those rankings and this list shows how much like the Rams I believe the Seahawks are going to be. I'm going on record saying that the Seahawks will crush the Rams on Sunday and show how close to them they should be ranked in the power polls. This will be the game to serve notice that these Seahawks don't bear any resemblance to last year's version and are not a 4 - 12 team despite what some may believe. If you believe some of the current power polls which depict us as a bottom dweller are accurate, then it should be a close game with the Rams having every chance to win. I don't believe that's the case. Do you? As I understand it, the Seahawks are favored by 8 1/2. Should they be?

I welcome your comments, predictions, concurrence, and/or disagreements. Am I right about what is going to happen? Will it be a tighter game than I think it will be? Could we even lose the game? Will the team be focused and play well? What will the final score be? What do you Addicts think?

Hasta,

BillT
