My poor notes from Mora's presser:
Injury Situation --
Brandon Frye - Should be fine, only going to miss a day or two
Rob Sims - strained oblique
Lofa Tatupu - Ran today, ran well, expects him to be back on Sunday barring setbacks.
Walter Jones - Still monitoring him, but hoping to get him back on the field ASAP. Quite encouraged by his progress.
Justin Griffith - Sprained knee, see how it goes during the week.
Matt Hasselbeck - Touch and go, totally unpredictable, depends on how he feels and moves.
Other notes:
Very high, high expectations for Olindo, he's been an outstanding kicker and has done a lot of great things for us. Mora has confidence in him, says he let his emotions get the best of him after the game.
Positives - Great effort by the whole football team. Of the three regular season games, we played through and through with the best effort so far. That was encouraging, because margin for error is small and one of the things that gives us a chance to win is effort and energy.
Moment of truth plays yesterday that we just didn't execute yesterday.
Making any moves? Tough to make one now with all the injuries. Never looking to make moves, but open to the possibility of making moves.
The Fumble? The ruling on the field was Fumble. Every view I saw was certainly not conclusive. I don't have all the views that the official had. Would rather focus on parts of the game that we could have controlled rather than those other people control.

Walt and Matt we need you... any news on Trufant? Will he be ready when the PUP time ends?

I wish we could play another big running team this week... The passing game could kill us. We didn't get much pressure on Cutler yesterday.

After listening for myself after reading all the comments, I decided that Mora's attitude - "No consolation - we lost!" was refreshing. Sure, he said too much, and admitted as much today, but it was nice to see the competitive attitude. Because in the end, as much as we enjoy the game, as great as the players tried, they didn't succeed, and it's wrong to walk away from a loss with the ho-hum oh well attitude.
That being said, it's time to put things back together and get ready for the next game, and it sounds like that is what Mora is ready to do.

As for ESPN and all the other news sources. They are totally taking Mora's comments out of context. He was asked a question and gave an honest, thorough answer that I'm sure Olindo Mare would agree with. He took it a little too far, but at no point during the press conference did he blame the loss on Mare.
Hawksince77- good point about the passion, its good to see it. The man is a football coach, passion has to come from somewhere. Many plays could have gone either way and made a difference in that game. The fumble, the Seneca scramble/interception, the Olson TD where Cutler threw just before Grant hit him. Lots of plays. Hawks have to come up bigger next game.
I look forward to hearing more on Lucas, Walt, as the week progresses. Hopefully Walt will be ready to go soon. Frye has been giving great effort, but we need the big man out there.

I do like seeing Mora showing some attitude, it's good to know that he won't tolerate losing becoming a habit.
