According to the guys over at the NFL Network, Edgerrin James may not have been the Seahawks first choice for their second back. Warrick Dunn was, reportedly, offered a contract but turned it down, looking for an "ideal fit." They go on to discuss how Dunn's ideal fit would be as a backup in a zone blocking system... so, uh, right, not ours. Strange. Anyway, an interesting tidbit found by DSAHawker in the forums. Nice!
They also discussed tackles briefly, and near the beginning Jason La Canfora stated that Seattle might be a good landing spot for recently cut tackle Tony Pashos. Pashos has been a starting RT for the Jaguars for the last three years, but there was no room left for him on their roster. Don't know much about Pashos, but it wouldn't be a terrible pickup, for the right price.
Also, totally unrelated... Shawn Merriman was arrested. On suspicion of assault. Assaulting Tila Tequila. Whaaat?
