Danny O'Neil just posted the above headline in a tweet 30 minutes ago.
No details yet on how severe the injury is, but this is already disenchanting news, seeing that Branch was kept on the roster after final cuts were made over the weekend.
If Branch can't go on Sunday, expect to see Ben Obomanu fill in. Judging by Obo's excellent showing last week against the Raiders, maybe that won't be such a bad thing anyway.
