To see the standings, please press "Read more" below.Alberta Hawk, cameltoes, Ed Wadding, jmedic, joemck, frontstreetfan, and yoda69all submitted their entries in an invalid format and therefore didn't have any entries in the contest this week and received zero points. Please read the instructions carefully before posting your entries next week to avoid a similar situation. Please pay attention to the error report which comes out Saturday morning. All your names were on it except frontstreetfan to whom I directed a comment right after he posted his entry. You were all alerted to the need to re-enter your predictions in the proper format.
I didn't receive any predictions this week from Chris (In Bosie), DougH, galitsky, Gonzo, Goose, Hawk_DE, Hawks Fan, janner, jmedic82, jrfspike, Jruss, Kyle McKenzie, Mighty Mouse, nbuser, Patrick J, rslosey, SeafaninSLG, The Island Man, Turn on the AC,and WenatcheeGuy, all of whom entered the contest the first week. If you don't make any predictions for the next 2 weeks, you will be removed from the contest due to inactivity and will not be allowed to re-enter this year (See the contest rules).
If any contestant thinks they should have received more points or didn't get credit, please e-mail me at my e-mail address on the Seahawk Addicts site and I will research it. Some of you had individual predictions that were in an invalid format and didn't receive points for those.
Here's the current standings.

Where are you getting your stats? Every box score (ESPN, TNT, Yahoo!Sports) I've checked has net passing yards as 243.

Thanks for doing this! You've taken on a lot.

No need to apologize, I missed the fact you had the bonus question correct. Also, after checking, I realized that you're correct that I used the passing yardage from two different places in the stats and the one last week was net and this week turned out to be gross. Since I was the one who benefited from the mistake (that looks bad huh), I reversed that to give you the point for closest to passing yardage.
With over 70 contestants to check every week, I get a little bleary eyed and can make a mistake so it's good for you guys to check over your predictions and make sure you got your points.

I suggest giving both of us a point for the passing yards and clarify for next week whether we are using gross or net yardage.

but then to be fair, I'd have to go back to last week and do the same. I'm not worried about my point (you rat).

Second, about Knapp's "terrible play calling" and being fired by the Raiders, besides that retarded Branch reverse on 3rd and short, I thought his play calling was excellent. He got us into the position where we were going for TD's and FG's almost every drive, rarely having to punt it. With our patchwork and rotating OL and backup QB, we put Chicago's stout D to the test more so than the Steelers did. I also thought our D did a rather respectable job considering our injury situation. Knapp also was able to put up very respectable running numbers with the raiders who had virtually no passing game at all.
I just think after a loss like this with our injury situation and a roster that changes constantly even in the middle of games, our coaches showed much more resolve than everyone is giving them credit. Let's hold off on writing them off.
