It's time to figure out if it's a curse. Man, seriously. There should be something after seeing this series of injuries. Who's next?
R-Rated??

Should be XXX rated..
This team requires a major re-tool on offense, starting with the coordinater and running through the offensive line, and QB. We also need to get some more stuff going on D as well.
All in all, if we get to 7-9 or 8-8 this is not out of line with where teams that finish 4-12 go the next season... and 2010 will tell the balance of the tale.

I am open 95% of the time. We would have won if Matt threw me the ball more. I am so good. I just need the ball. Throw me the ball. Throw me the ball. I'm the best ever.
Really? Hopping off the bandwagon already?

Wow, really Steve A? We lose one game with two fourth string players on the left side of our O-Line and missing our three pro-bowl players on defense for all (Trufant) or most (Tatupu, Kerney)of the game.
Sounds like you'll fit in well with the Cardinals fans, the ones who haven't supported their team rabidly until they finally hit their stride after 20 years.
Your absence is unlikely to be noticed among the Seahawks fan base. I figured any Seahawks fan who survived the 90s would be able to handle a couple years of awful injuries.
Maybe two years of shitty Seahawks is exactly what we needed to clean the bandwagoners out? Are we SEAHAWK ADDICTS or are we just light users?
GO HAWKS!

Steve, take your sorry bandwagon ass off this site and jump on the Cardinal bandwagon somewhere. As soon as Warner retires, Bolden and Dockett sign somewhere else, and the Cardinal go back to sucking, don't come back! We don't need you or want you. We're going through a rough time as all NFL teams do at some point. In a couple years we'll be back to winning the division. Enjoy your Tards this year, because it won't last.

I'm still in, even for this season, even if it gets worse. I love this team. This game sucked. Damn. Hope they get healthy the next two weeks and have plenty of time to get their shit together, especially the play calling. Sometimes I love knapp's play calling and sometimes i just hate it. I'm looking forward to having more starters back on the o-line. Love some great news like Walt making huge strides, though am not holding my breath on that.
Any silver lining in this game? I love Curry. He hits harder than any Seahawk I can remember. Not just on a big play but on nearly every damn play. He has a nose for the ball, blitzes great and just impresses the hell out of me. I don't think our defense played especially bad today (i know, i know), but they were in some pretty shitty field positions and there was a lot outside of their control. They didn't have their best game, but giving a good offense that many chances is suicide for any d. The offense and special teams sucked ass. Especially the o-line and play calling. For someone who loves screens so much, why didn't knapp call some while the cards were over-pressuring right up the middle and sides so many times? That's what the Cards were doing to us so well on that first drive. Trying to slow down our pressure.
Will still be rooting for the Hawks no matter what happens, shitty luck or low times. This season isn't over yet. But it ain't looking pretty. Lucky we have some freaking awesome back-up linebackers. Call me crazy but the defense hasn't dropped off much after Hawthorne has filled in besides a looong run by Gore. And Herring seems a pretty decent starter. Sure sad that Curry can't play next to Lofa all year to learn from and get better together. These stupid injuries will continue to hurt our special teams coverage.
Still here and not going anywhere.

Steve A. I'm sorry but I think you have misunderstood the meaning of the word fan. Though the fair weather Cards "fans" are a couple losses away from jumping off of their very fleeting bandwagon so you'd better hurry and jump on before it's too late.
Funny how you describe a winning team too. Seeing as how the Cards have barely won anything. Enjoy. Beware of Warner's small hands and propensity for fumbling and getting injured. That team has less than half of the character that our team does and will fall apart as soon as they encounter any trouble. They barely kept it together the first offseason after their first super bowl.
Thanks for being honest. Now piss off.

The injuries have been insane, but you can't train out of torn pecs, high ankle sprains, broken ribs. The groin injuries, however, are concerning.

It isnt Matt's fault. No one, not even Dan Marino with his quick release, could accomplish anything with our offensive line. In 25 years of watching football, I have NEVER seen an offensive line so inept.
Nate Burleson plays the WR position like he's dancing ballet. If someone so much as bumps him, he drops the ball. Come ON!!
Carlson continues to look awkward and lost out there, unable to turn his head and find the ball unless its perfectly on target and on time. EARTH TO CARLSON! Dude, the ball is coming EARLY, becuase Hass has no pass pro!!
Why was James carrying the ball?! Why not see what Forsett can do. James cant even get to the line of scrimmage. Seriously, Walter Payton couldnt have run for 100 yards with our line, but damn! Jones and James look pathetic.
Tatupu being out may not be a big deal. He is small and slow, and hasnt had an impact game in a year and a half--wether its injuries or the rest of the NFL has figured out how to nutralize him, Tatupu isnt accomplishing squat out there. Hawthorne is a harder hitter, and a much better athlete than Tatupu and will cover for him well.
What will be nearly impossible to replace is Tatupu's knowledge of the game, and his wierd sixth sense about whats gonna happen. He is the unquestioned leader of the defense, and I dont know if anyone can adequately pick up the slack.
Greg KNapp must go. The guy has no business as OC in the NFL. And Mora looked lost and confused and frustrated. Dude, Mora! Fire your buddy before he gets you and your GM fired!

....glad i didnt post immediately following the game,...I was beyond upset. I still love my hawks and will support them the rest of the way. That said this year is officially over as far as accomplishing the goal of a division championship and playoffs. This team for whatever reason has a squad of players that just cant stay healthy. In 30 years of watching football i have never seen anything like this. So as the rest of this season plays out im going to support and cheer on the players that do take the field each week and hit it. At the end of this season i feel we need to completely revamp most of this team. Im ready and willing to support this team's rebuilding as I have in the past. Im willing to stick through some more losing seasons i just hope that while i do, this team starts building a new young team to take us where we want to go. GO SEAHAWKS
So Sad!

Last week I was the happiest Seahawks fan. We blew a crappy team out of the water. This week I am the most embarrassed fan! This up and down drama is too much. I like what Mora said, "We are not even thinking about the playoffs. Just focused on what to do next!" Yeah, I think we all are here Mora. The weirdest thing is that I will be back watching the game against Dallas praying that Roma doesn't smile against our Defense but who am I kidding...
We absolutely stink against good teams and rock it up against bad teams. Here is a few beers for the Detroit Lions game coming up!!!!!

Season Death Watch after game 6?
I'm afraid so. I'm on it. It's a long way to the 2010 draft.
We beat St.Louis, Detroit and one more game (Tampa Bay or Houston). That's it. We are 5-11. I really cannot believe we don't compete well with the big boys.

Hell I staid to the end. I believe we still have to take the best available in draft terms. But still we took some chances in our drafts like LOFA, so Tim is still Tim. We drafted a starting rg rookie too. I thought 66 did ok on Dockett last year. We all thought we were there and God help us for the rest of this ride. Mr. Jones Thank you for so many memories! I think everyone understands. Go offense line dig deep and stay healthy when you come back or arrive.
D-line is deep and you were probably held. 98 that spin move was tite! funny fastest guy on the line could not go 5 yards in 2 seconds with 2 Cards behind him hahahah

how could a 25 year hawk fan stick the knife into his team? YOU LIE! what makes us fans is we stay loyal to our team especially when they struggle. it's like a family you idiot.
now i am extremely frustrated with hawks getting shut out from scoring a TD and having a non NFL quality OL and being 2-4. i put that on the GM. But i dont throw my team away like U.
yeah you deserve to be a fair weather ariz bandwagoneer.

Mora needs EMOTION to get his sidelines fired up, maybe the Sark Bounce? Anything Mora, act like you give a fuck during the game. The losing is no ones fault except the strength and conditioning regime, need a change. P.S I miss my Sonics.

To Steve A:
You are the epitome of a bandwagon fan. What you need is a punch in the face, then you can use your new Kurt Warner jersey to wipe up the blood. We don't need your type of fair weather fans and you should be banned from this website. Just don't think about coming back to Seattle once your new team enviably sucks again.
