The Hawks have snagged Mike Gibson from the Philadelphia Eagles' practice squad. Gibson was drafted out of Cal in 2008 but spent the year on the injured reserve. He is 6'4" and 305 lbs. This might not mean great things for Rob Sims and Manny Wrotto's well-being, but it might be a positive signal regarding Sean Locklear's health.
Kyle Williams slipped onto the practice squad. I, like you, am shocked - SHOCKED - that no team claimed him on waivers after his performance on Sunday.
