I'll let the audio do most of the talking, but here are a few highlights:
- Patrick Kerney and Travis Fisher will return to practice this week on a limited basis. Their status for Sunday is uncertain, but the news is encouraging.
- Kyle Williams will start at left tackle against Arizona. Newly-acquired Damion McIntosh will practice this week, but his role doesn't seem to be clear yet. The offensive line will likely see more shuffling before too long.
- Safety CJ Wallace will miss several weeks with a hamstring injury. His absence will be felt on special teams, which has performed well through the year so far.
- Mora says the Cardinals are a good team and will be "hard to stop" if Kurt Warner continues to play at a high level.
- The coaching staff has a lot of confidence in Kyle Williams, and Mora cited his experience in USC. He's not intimidated by the atmosphere or the pressure of starting, Mora said, and he'll continue to take lots of reps in practice.
- Justin Griffith will start at fullback this week. "He's 100 percent," Mora said. It'll be good to have Griffith back to bolster the running game. His presence has made a difference with Julius Jones's performance thus far.
- Expect to see more two-tight end packages this week, according to Mora. Could this mean another long overdue big game for John Carlson?
Mora seemed subdued during this 20-minute presser, and very focused on winning the game against Arizona. It didn't seem like Mora's team had just pounded the Jaguars 41-0 four days ago.
Also, Mike Sando made an appearance on 710 ESPN radio with Mike Salk, and the two had a great conversation previewing the Week 6 game. You can listen to it all here.
