Everyone who is anyone has pointed out that this game today is pretty much a must win. Here's how we do it:
- Maurice Jones-Drew - Stop him. That's pretty easy to write, a bit more difficult to execute. MJD is strong and has legs that just don't stop (moving). He hasn't gotten off to a great start this year, and just like Matt Forte before him, its up to the Seahawks defense at home to insure he doesn't start today.
- Get the ball to Houshmandzadeh - I'm tired of him talking, and he's been quiet the last few weeks. Good! Now lets reward him with 140 yards and two TDs today, yeah?
- Greg Knapp - I'm getting really tired of Greg Knapp, and its only been four games. Knapp needs to use all of the tools at his disposal, and use them in a safe manner. The Hawks did a great job in the preseason playing against 3-4 defenses, so hopefully we can keep that trend alive this week. Most importantly though: don't put Hasselbeck in situations where he's likely to get injured. Look for a lot of quick passes and running plays.
- 12th Man - Make it happen! The Hawks have the best home field in the league, we cannot afford to lose again at home. We beat the Bears, according to the NFL anyway, so lets make sure to beat the Jags this week and Cards next week, then regroup a bit.
- Win - Just. Win. That's the only thing that matters. Look great, look awful, but WIN THE GAME.
