2:44 - Patrick Kerney reaggravates groin injury, will not return today.
2:42 - Josh Wilson comes up a bit gimpy, but it looks like a wrist injury. He almost has to play through it.
2:37 - Greg Knapp is proving once again that he is just effing clueless. I've said it before, I'll say it again: the worst thing to happen to the Seahawks this offseason was Greg Knapp being hired. In fact, Steffes and I said that when Mora was announced in February 2008 -- don't hire Knapp!!! Ugh.
2:21 - Halftime. Well, it could be a lot worse than a two-score game, and probably should be. Still, just bad all around in the first half.
2:15 - Huge, huge drop by Carlson. Monumental fail.
2:13 - Sack strip by Kerney with great pressure by Hawthorne, Mebane and Kerney. Score here and the game is well within reach at the half.
2:09 - Lofa Tatupu is injured, left shoulder or bicep is what it looks like. Hawthorne is in for now, possibly the rest of the game. Hey, maybe he's the fresh blood we need in there? An ugly game so far, but lets try to get to the half without giving up any more points. A pick-six would be nice though...
1:36 - End of first quarter, the Seahawks are absolutely dreadful. Time of possession: 0:43 to 14:17. No protection for Hasselbeck on any of his three snaps, especially the one that led to a fumble. Must hold them to 3 here...
1:24 - 14-0 very quickly. Absolutely embarrassing. What the fudge was John Owens doing? The Hawks coverage acted like that kickoff was a punt return. Yes, it was surprising, but get real. Utterly embarrassing. If we don't score a touchdown here, this will be a very long game. And sorry, but Kenny Lucas needs to be on the field. His absence puts Jennings in and Milloy as safety in our nickel package. We just saw how well Babs can cover Fitzgerald.
Minimal readership for home games, but hopefully we can keep each other company on here. Go Seahawks! Also, I just fixed the comments so they are much faster. Update -- Kelly Jennings will start at CB for Ken Lucas, who missed all week preparing for his father's funeral. Gulp. Also, Lawrence Jackson will start at Left End per Danny O'Neil.
