Sights are set on getting better from this point on, rather than looking back -- but there is still plenty to work on and things to learn on.
Good news: guys will start coming back. Rob Sims could miss a couple of games, Kerney has a groin strain and is "doubtful" for this week. Matt Hasselbeck will attempt to practice on Wednesday, no promise that he'll play though. Josh Wilson will be back at close to full strength. Guys like Lofa and Frye will be getting healthier and should be close to full speed.
"Very disappointed with where we are after a quarter, but there's a lot left to play."
Matt -- matter of being able to move and take deep breaths, and that is just a matter of wait and see. Hopefully on Wednesday he can get out there and do some things and hopefully be ready by Sunday.
Question: the team has lost 11 of 13 on the road. Is there anything you see that gives you an idea of what happens and why it is going that way? "That is the million dollar question. I actually talked to guys from other places about that, of course I reflected back on my time in SF when we were one of the best road teams in the league. So I'm kind of pouring through my memory bank to see if there's something we did differently, and I haven't come up with anything yet, other than that its something you take on the road with you. Mental toughness."
Sense of urgency? Yes. Major sense of urgency, huge sense of urgency. I concur, we need to get to the bye at 3-3, rest up, hit it hard and play. It's killing Matt not to play, it's killing Walt not to play, and Tru and Hill, and all these guys, it's killing all of them to sit on the sidelines and not play.
Moping Clowns on the Sidelines? I felt like, on the field and after the tape, that we continued to fight. I can tell you this, this is team that will stand up, bow our neck, and fight. It might not look like that, because when you look at the score and sometimes it was a little bit easy for Payton, but I can tell you that this is a team that doesn't have any quit in'em.

And it wasn't the score that made us think the Hawks quit on Sunday, it was their demeanor, their faces, and their seemingly total lack of energy.
