Hey all, sorry for the slow past week, but I think we're back on track now. Anyway, this isn't too Seahawk-related, but it is relevant to the blog. Bloguin (our network) is celebrating their one year anniversary, and in doing so they've tossed up the first annual Bloguin Awards ballot. Seahawk Addicts is nominated for two awards -- best banner and best football blog. Of course we would love a vote of confidence from all you lovely, attractive readers.

While you're at it though, be sure to check out some of the other blogs, especially if you're an NBA fan (apparently they still play basketball in this country?) or NHL, both sectors are well represented on the Bloguin network and a lot of the blogs are just going nuts right now as those seasons get started. I'm hoping they will speed up the network too. They just added their 100th blog. The more blogs the more revenue and the more likely we can get some dedicated servers.

As far as site problems go, I don't have any other than the fact that our posted love of the Seahawks does not translate into a W on Sunday. When the shoe ad started up, somebody suggested adding Foof to my Mozilla and ever since, no problems at all. And I check in at least 2x a day.
In the spring and summer, Addicts is the only daily source I can rely for my Seahawk fix.
The best thing about this site is the wide variety of opinions and feelings that can be shared. I don't have as much time to sit and participate in the forums, but the main articles will get a daily glance.

What the heck are you talkin' about, my Commodore 64 loaded the old site just fine. Sure, takes a little time with my dial-up and all, but Compuserve says they will tweak things and she'll scream like a banshee. Now if I can just get 5.25 floppies in cool colors like those Fingerdrives all the young kids use...
Seriously, though, this is an old machine I built a couple years ago--AMD Dual-Core, 4 GB Ram, Windows XP Pro, IE 8. But I did own a C64...and I bet I still have some floppies around here somewhere...heck, I remember BEFORE floppies, when we used cassette-tape drives :-)
