Play dirty and play angry. I am very tired of watching teams play the Hawks and end up with career high performances.

Hell yah I hope the Seahawks play a little dirtier. I would love the seahawks to lose their choirboy image and start playing some smashmouth borderline dirty football.
Curry lost how much money for doing what?
And Dockett is fined 7500 for obvious extra curricular bs?!!!? The NFL is so arbitrary in it's fines. It is ridiculous.

Why should the Hawks play dirty? Should they just sell out their stated morals for a cheap victory in a game? I for one would lose a bit of respect if that was the case.
Now I know I am in the minority but I think a bit of perspective is needed and it seems to me that doing it would erode the most positive thing I can say about my fandom and the Hawks.
I root for this team mostly because of the stated morality the FO has and has preached. I like to root for the good guys, not for some jackass that takes a cheap shot just for the temporary result of winning a game.
To each their own I guess.

At that price, we should be going for quarterbacks' jugulars.
After all, if playing dirty makes a player more effective, his raise in salary will exceed the fines (and the bodyguard he will need to employ).

it's utter bullshit but that doesn't mean we should be following suit. There's such a thing as sportsmanship and honor still and I hope people don't start crossing that line just because they can.
I better not start seeing Lofa trying to eye gouge people like Brandon Spikes because he only gets a $7,000 fine....

He does not need a fine

He needs handcuffs. Can the police charge him with assault?

Nothing would be gained by going dirty at this point in a lost season. The point was made and the league levied a small fine. For the long term the team needs to look at more defensive players with Curry's attitude rather than try to figure out ways for the current bunch to get away with sneaky little dirty moves.

Alright if that's the case- i expect retribution next year. I want Dockett's throat crushed now. The world would be better without him in it.

Dirty, undisciplined football does not equate to tough, winning football. Just look at the Oakland Raiders. I'd be disappointed to see one of our players pull a Dockett.

The vikes game would be the perfect time to start playing borderine dirty ball. Remember back in 06 when EJ Henderson laid that dirty late hit on Hasselbeck that caused him to miss quite a few games? I do, and I'm sure the team still does. I'm sure they also remember they playoffs in 07. Look out Favre...
What About Farvre?

If any Seahawks try that against Farvre, $7,500 would only be a small down payment on the fine someone would get. That would put it on the front page.
NFL embarrasment

Well the line has been drawn in the sand and thhe comish just drew it. As usuall the league continues to be like our govt. what you saw is not what you saw.I think I will start using this perspective in my everyday life. I live in Az and was right up front and center and saw this. WHAT A JOKE. We have photo radar everywhere and the next speedind ticket I get I will simply plead NG and I can us many NFL film and stories like this one to back it up. This Dockett is a DEUSCHBAG at best I see him at local night clubs and mark my words This is not a quality human being.I am seriusly worried about the league and the direction Goodell is headed. They have a collective bargaining spat that seems to be going no where and things like this and many others are hurting your credibility. I saw what I saw and dont tell me the sky is green when I have the same two eyes you have.VERY DISAPOINTED as a football fan not just a Seahawk fan.

How come Curry drew so much ire from the league in game 1? Since then we get huge game changing calls and cheap hits against us ALL THE TIME!

We should be mad at the seahawks for not taking a cheap shot back at him or any other cardinal (preferably Fitzgerald or Warner) during the game.
