Two rookie signings today of some note -- Alex Mack (#21, top Center in the draft) and Everette Brown (#43) signed with their teams today. Mack will earn 7.5% more than last year's #21 pick with 12.2% more in guaranteed money. Everette Brown was taken 6 picks earlier than the Hawks' second-round pick, Max Unger.

Brown has signed a 4-year, $4.3 million deal, with $2.7 million guaranteed including a $1.54 million signing bonus. You can expect Unger's contract to come pretty darn close to Brown's deal. We should be hearing about it any day now, though last year our 2nd Round pick (Carlson) was our last player to sign, missing a day of training camp in the process. Nothing to worry about, just a little history.
