Every Seahawk fan needs to listen to this recording below of T.J Houshmandzadeh, Deion Branch, and Nate Burleson talking to KJR-AM. If we could see this fire on the field we could be undefeated. These guys are mad and you can see their passion. Listen and comment about it.

I dont care how mad they are. Just perform, baby. And if you cant (and these guys havent), then go cry to your wives and retire.
I would be disgusted at Knapp if I were them too. The guy could have the entire ALL-Pro Team roster and couldnt scheme out a victory with 55% completion ratio.
I bet Branch cant wait to leave Seattle. Too bad he wont be paying back any of the money we overpaid him. So much for him being a top 10 WR in the NFL--his stats arent even top 50. What a waste of money. Go back to NE, Branch--Mr. Deion "Never had a 1,000 yard season but I made a butt ton of money!" Branch.
Housh is clueless. He should be happy with all the money we are paying him. He's the guy who thinks he's open even when DB's are draped all over his slow ass. Seriously, since when are tall posession receivers this arrogant?!
And Burleson?! Mr. Never Arrived. The ultimate underachiever. I guess if 15 drops a season and 800 yards in his fourth year here are worth what he gets paid, then Housh is a bargain at $8 million a year.
Out of all of them, Housh is the only guy I want to return. And he's getting paid twice what he's worth, thanks to Ruskell's complete lack of ability to draft a single productive WR in five years.
Maybe if pigs flew, Branch hadnt been injured (and grew 6 inches so Matt could hit him with the ball), Nate didnt drop almost every third down pass sent his way, and Housh was half as fast as he thinks he is, and Knapp was still with the Raiders, maybe then this crew might have been as good as they think they are....Nah.

He's become a clear leader on our offense. It's hard to put up 1000 yard seasons when your quarterback is playing from his back the whole season. Our offense is only as good as our offensive line. Anybody should know that- you apparently don't.

Hugh Millen is a big douche bag. That guy should be fired.
I love it when people who use to play go to being a commenter and their thoughts are that misled.
How could he call himself a sports broadcaster and not have an idea of coverages. He called a two man coverage, man to man. That is just stupid.

My comment is not necessarily germane to the topic, but feel the need to express it nevertheless....
Leiweke: "Any GM we hire to come and join our , will do so on our terms."
If this is who we have making business decisions for our team, it's going to take a LONG TIME for this team to get back to being competitive.
It took the Cardinals 30 years to finally win 10 games in a season. If this continues, it might take us at least that long. Hopefully I'll still be alive by then.
Hasselbeck jersey, meet garbage can.

First of all, it's 'Gig Harbor' not 'Gigs Harbor' or did I hear that wrong?
Nothing got revealed in that segment. No insight in what ails the team. No acceptance of any particular criticism of coaches or players.
For what it's worth, I don't believe it's primarily the fault of the players. The WRs that Seattle fields would be plenty successful if:
1) the offensive line could protect the QB
2) the QB could throw the ball down the field
3) the starting RB could average more than 3.7 yards a carry (which may again reflect on the O-line)
4) the offensive coordinator could call decent plays
Seattle fields enough talent to win more games than they did. This comes down to:
1) Ruskell (gone)
2) Mora (should be gone)
I don't care what the players say, Mora is ultimately responsible for game prep, game planning, and staffing the critical coaching positions. He has had more time than any first-year coach to demonstrate his leadership ability, and the team has done nothing but regressed from last year.
Even this year. They are far worse at the end of the year than at the beginning. They blanked the Rams 28 zip, and the potential playoff bound Jags 41 zip. Those weren't accidents.
Housh, Branch and Nate are right to object when people say "it's everyone's fault except Matt and Mora's". Who fans should hold accountable is the HC - Jim Mora.
As far as Matt goes, he needs to rejoin Holmgren in Cleveland where he might have some success in his last couple of years (and I sincerely wish him the best).
Seattle needs a new QB, and I don't mean drafting someone in the top two rounds. People can shoot me, but maybe if Mora must stay (I would rather he didn't) than perhaps they will consider the unthinkable - Mike Viok.
At least Vick (as someone posted above) would have a better chance of executing that naked boot leg, and honestly (I have changed my mind since last year) I want to see the Seahawks play competitive football, and maybe Vick gives them that chance without blowing a first round pick on an unknown.
As far as being a true fan - I don't have any choice. I couldn't not be a Seahawk fan if I wanted to, so I am stuck with rooting for a team that is getting worse, not better, and they are already pretty bad.

Knapp (and Mora too if he's that loyal to him) has to go.

I know some of you are trying to read into their comments a guarded criticism of Mora, Knapp or Hasselbeck. But that's not what I heard. I heard three guys saying they're standing with their teammates -- and I got the distinct impression that didn't mean just the players.
To everyone who's saying the team has stopped playing for Mora, or that they're not putting any effort into it, you have their response "No one's booked a flight home yet."

This teams success throughout its existance has been during Knox and Holmgren era. In fact, all the success that Allen and Leiweke have had is due to what Holmgren did. I know we all believe that Paul Allen will make this team a success again, but having Mora and Kanapp as coaches makes me very nervous.

I suspect the general reaction is different from what you expected, but I have to agree with the general tone: the three guys were very unimpressive on the air, full of empty air and goofy arguments. They tap-danced around anything meaningful, and essentially said everything would be fine if they were winning. Well, no shit.

I appreciate the three of them having the balls to go on the show.I am reading alot of these posts and have to say I am in agreement with some but not all of these posts.I did here TJ say he was playing with broken ribs.If this is true I have to give him alot of credit for not crying about it and giving his all this year.I did hear Nate say how big of a loss it was losing Walter Jones and Wahle.Well we should know what are first two picks in the draft will be.It is obvoius that Matt is not healthy at all because the guys say some things need to stay internal.I like the attitudes of Nate and TJ but I didnt really care for the comment by Branch about being the only one to play in a Super Bowl.HE hasnt done jack in four years except one goood game against the Pats.I hope they go on the air again soon I loved hearing the perespective from the players even if they couldnt say everything they wanted to .It does tell alot about a coach when the players believe in him.And from what i got from the guys they do.As for Knapp the writing was on the wall.I also have to say that S.TTMB is a fucking idiot.Didnt you hear what the guys said your either with or your not.Get off this site jackass.

Why are most of you hating the 3?. It seems that's what we all do on this blog... habitually hate, right? It could have been Hassellbeck, Mebane, Unger, Tatupu, etc. talking on that program and all of us on this blog would have some bashing and hating to do because, HEY, that's what we do, right? Yes, they were getting some things off their chest, just as all of us fans have been doing for the pass couple of months. There is nothing wrong with that, is there? If we can bash the players, then why can't they bash the fans? Yes, their were things that Housh and Branch said that I disagree with, but to say that they are losers for speaking their minds is a load of shit and all of you know that. This is a free country and they have all the rights just like we do. Now, in defense of Burleson, that guy rarely spoke in the negative. I'm not going to make a big deal about the radio program. What I got from the program was that there is a "BIG" issue in that organization, and it sounds to me that issue is Gregg Knapp. To all you Branch haters out there! You all are inept imbeciles! Yes, you heard me right! For you guys to say that he did not earn his Super Bowl rings is absolutely ignorant. The guy put up 900+ yards the year before he got here and 800+ yards during the other Super Bowl run. So, that isn't enough to earn a couple of rings? Yes, Branch doesn't have the 1000+ yardage here in Seattle, but he has always been consistent with average yards per reception which is 13. Also, it's obvious a lot of you don't understand what it's like having injury after injury after injury. Some people get dealt a different hand then the other person. Why this happens? No one knows. I have had 6 hernia surgeries, a broken femur bone, and 4 knee surgeries with another at the end of January. I have been athletic all my life, but I'm only 38 years of age. I didn't ask for any of this and I guarantee Branch didn't either. What I'm trying to say is as fans we can bitch all we want about the Seahawks dismal season, but can we actually say we understand the things they go through. It's obvious that is irrelevant to most of you because of the things you hear them say on a radio program. Look and read all the shit that's said on this blog. Most of it has no actual relevance to the reality to what is going on in that locker room. We all want to believe that we have all the knowledge of what goes on with the Seattle Seahawks, but we are all kidding ourselves. I did not take any offense what-so-ever to anything those guys said on KJR. They, like the rest of us, were only venting.

Dysfuction - that is the only word I can think of to describe the Seahawks right now. I don't know where it comes from. I don't think that Lieweike deserves as much blame as he is being given by many fans, except for his mistake in hiring Tim Ruskell. Most teams are run by business people. The smart ones make sure that competent football people run the football side of the organization - as Ruskell has done here for the past 5 years. Unfortunately, Ruskell wasn't as good as advertised.
The pro bowl roster came out today and there are ZERO Seahawks for the first time since 2000. As mad as that makes me, I didn't expect there to be any, and I can find at least some relief in the fact that Ruskell was shown the door. We have gone from 8 pro bowlers in 2005 to none today.
I think that there will be a major purge of this team beginning as soon as the new GM is named. I also believe that the new GM will be given the freedom to choose his own head coach, despite what Lieweike said at his press conference. What else could he have said? His comment that he fully expected Mora to be retained was intended to send a message to the team that Mora still had the authority over the team. If the organization was willing to fire Ruskell, there is no way they will let a highly qualified GM get away because of some commitment to a head coach who was handpicked by the very GM who was fired for his incompetent management of the team.

What do we care what goes on in the locker room? What matters is how the team plays on the field, and right now, they are the laughing stock of the NFL. Seahawk fans are the laughing stock of the NFL. For those of us who don't have the option of switching allegiance, we are stuck with the garbage we have seen the past two years.
I have resisted posting much this season because there is so little positive or exciting to relate. But it's over. The Hass/W. Jones/Kearney/Holmgren run is over. It's time to go a new direction, and that's what we want to see, what we want to hear, not the BS spouting from those three on the radio.
They didn't address any of the issues facing the team. They didn't take any responsibility for the results on the field. They didn't offer Seattle fans with anything but the challenge of either supporting the team or (essentially) effing off.
The team looks terrible right now, and nothing I heard makes me think that will change this coming Sunday, despite their assurance that they would win their sixth game and hold C. Johnson from reaching 2000 yards.
Good luck to that.

I meant to say is off the field. Before they actually get on the field to play a game they have to prepare. Game films, one one one with coaching staff, preparations, injuries and all the other "stuff" that goes on with the life of players and staff. All this has an effect on how players play on game day.
Completely agree about off-field prep...
written by Hawksince77, December 29, 2009

...all of which I place squarely on the coaching staff. The players are obviously not well prepared to play; the game-planning is poor at best, a plan that plays to the teams strengths and the oppenent's weakness. Any team can beat any team, and that's why - in part because the less-talented team comes to the field with a better plan and higher levels of energy/motivation. It's not just, or even primarily, the skill level of the individual players.
It's all about timing!

The best thing the team can do for themselves right now is manage to lose the last game so we have a chance of drafting at least one blue chip player who can help get this team back on it's feet. (LT, CB, etc.)
My greatest fear is that they can't even do that right and will blow us out of the top ten in April with a win at just the wrong time. Right now, we're a lock at 7 if we lose or we could get as high as 5 (with Redskin and Brown wins). A win puts us potentially at 10. Big difference between 5 and 10 or even 7 and 10. I hate not being bad enough to get a great pick but not good enough to even sniff the playoffs.

I always hated the D. Branch pickup before. But "here is the bottom line", this guy not only sucks but he is a complete idiot. Shut this guy up and cut him on Monday.
With Us Or Against Us

Branch goes "either your with us or against us" he should know when to be quiet. He is gone by the end of the season so he is irrelevant. Just play this weekend and ride into the sunset and good luck signing with another team for more then the leagues minimum.

"S.TTMB is a fucking idiot.Didnt you hear what the guys said your either with or your not.Get off this site jackass."--Hawksmack
What is your problem, Hawksmack? Is that all you do is talk smack? Go screw yourself, douchebag! You want to call people names, fine. You'll get it right back.
Why dont you try arguing your side--if you have one?! What did I say that you disagree with? You cant even come up with a serviceable argument!
I dont like Nate because he has never arrived. He drops passes worse than anyone since Doug Thomas, and 8 years in the league with one 1,000 yard season playing opposite Moss is pathetic. He has been given every opportunity to excel--yet hasnt. He isnt anything but a third WR, and I am frustrated with that. I am tired of all the excuses made for him, especially given the heaps of hatred I heard from losers like you when D-Jack went through his hard times. Nate isnt that good--call a spade a spade.
With Branch, the guy talks and whines but never shows up. He is a ruined shell of what he used to be--and what he used to be is a WR who never had a 1,000 yard season or 6 TD's and yet felt deserving of top-10 WR pay. He of all people has no room to talk.
Housh I still want on the team, but his pouting, big mouth, key drops, and lack of production arent endearing him to anyone except fools.
I am quite aware that Knapp is the major cause of the mess that is our offense, as well as Ruskell and Mora. However, none of our WR's has played as well as they could have with this crap offensive system. They are failing in part due to thier lack of talent and heart. That failing due to lack of heart is unforgiveable.
Many seem to agree with me. If you dont, fine--argue your side if you want.
But last time I checked, you dont run this blog. You dont like hearing my frustration?! Dont read my comments! The Hawks have lost 10 games including a couple to the worst teams in football. They regularly get blown out, and at the end of the season we are far worse than we were in game 2. Our WR's are acting like Prima Donna's and you want happy?! I wasnt happy in 1992, and this is it all over again.
I have been a Hawk fan since before I understood what a field goal was all about--probably years longer than you, as if it matters. And I will be a fan long after idiots like you have gone away. I love this team with all my heart, but that doesnt mean I have to support idiot WR's as they put up numbers that look like rejects from the CFL while talking smack.
I am a fan of this team, not simply some blind idiot in love with 3 overpaid underachieving WR's.

I agree with you on Branch but your comments on Housh and Nate are dead wrong. You know you were excited as a I was when you found out Housh was coming here.Did you listen to the whole broadcast.Did you here him say he was playing with broken ribs.I want someone like Housh on my team.I want someone that talks shit.Nate wasnt brought in here as a number one receiver and think what he has done for the young guys is enough. What about all of those great punt returns. You were jumping out of your coach for. That fact of the matter is your talking to much shit about guys that have no control of the shity playcalling and our crippled qb.You are either with is or your not.I understand the reason for calling me out.I would be pissed to if everyone agreed you and not me.But the fact is they didnt.

WOW!!! I don't know what to say? We need a true #1 receiver however I do not beleive that will happen. Too many other needs.
Burleson drops too many balls at critical times. I have always questioned his awarness. However he will probably be the best we have next year.
Houshmandzadeh is a beast when used correctly. I remember a few years ago we played Cinci and he caught like 13 passes. Almost all of them were curls and hooks. He needs a threat opposite him to contribute.
Branch is a good player who has been injured frequently. I would like to see us use him in more of a Engram roll i think he would do well there. When matched up man to man on any route other then a slant he is hard for Hasslebeck to find IMO.
Hasslebeck has never had the ability to make the amazing throw i.e. back shoulder away from the corner. I love Hass but he is not that type of QB. I think TJ hit it on the head when he said that Hasslebeck is a timing QB. He didnt have to make the great throw only have good accuracy, be on time and make the right decision. Holmgrens offense was a timing base offense many time Hass would throw the ball before the receiver even got there. A person needs time in a system inorder to play that style of game they have to be comfortable and confident. Why do you think it would take so long for other receivers and QB to get Mikes Holmgrens system YOU HAD TO BE ON TIME...PERIOD!!
I get really frustrated with some of you who state that Mora or players are not taking blame for the poor preformances. Mora has said repeatedly that he blames himself and coaching (if you don't agree with me then you have not actually listned to the Pressers like I have. One comment by Mora "ultimatley I am the Head Coach it is my resposibility to prepare the team. period" (I am going off memory so probabaly not exact words but close. Houshmandzadeh said (if you listened to the ENTIRE track) stated that he felt that he had played like trash this year and would be doing everything in his power this offseason to imporove.

People deserve very good life time and home loans or term loan would make it much better. Just because people's freedom depends on money.

The way i see it he is trying to kill Matt or he is completely incompetent. It also sounded like the three amigos on the show wanted to call out G. Knapp but could not. It is the main reason the team is being torn apart now! The whole offense does not believe in Knapp and have given up on him.
After this interview i have no respect for Branch left. He is a little cry baby.
