RB Justin Forsett reportedly suffered a "tweaked" hamstring in Friday's practice, according to Danny O'Neil. He's officially listed as questionable for Sunday's game against San Francisco.
Needless to say, if there was ever a time where the Seahawks needed a healthy running back, it's now. Julius Jones practiced this week, but a bruised lung isn't something anyone should take lightly. I'm not counting on Jones to have many carries or very impressive numbers on Sunday.
But Forsett maintains the injury is nothing huge.
Forsett said he stopped practicing so as to not further get hurt. "It's just a little tweak. I don't see it keeping me out," he said.
It sounds like he made the right move in sitting out the remainder of practice after suffering the injury, but Jim Mora says it's too early to tell whether or not the second-year RB will be good to go Sunday. Obviously, having Forsett in would be a huge plus for this offense in a game that will ultimately decide whether or not this Seahawks team has anything resembling a pulse.
In other news, Cory Redding (concussion) and DD Lewis (knee) are listed as doubtful, and Lawrence Jackson (groin) is listed as questionable.
