Consider this a bit of reading catch up. I've been a little busy at work lately, so I've been slow in getting this stuff to the forefront. Here we go:

=====================

Rob Staton has been doing a great job keeping things going over at the Seahawks Draft Blog. Among other things, be sure to check out "10 to Watch in 2010;" a write-up on (get ready for this) Ndamukong Suh; a fantastic piece where he scouts out the two top safeties in the draft, Eric Berry and Taylor Mays; and finally, Rob's take on the "Great Rookie Stalemate of 2009."

=====================

Danny O'Neil wrote a nice piece on Ray Willis, though it appears he barely made it out alive.

This is 315 pounds of potential malice we're talking about here, and he has just been asked why so many people tend to fight him in practice. The big man is not amused by this line of questioning. Not even a little bit.

Apparently, Willis is the fiestiest guy on the team and, for whatever reason, seems to be involved in just about every fight that breaks out. He also doesn't seem to have a sense of humor about it. This offensive line has severely needed someone with a mean streak since Hutch left, and if it's going to be Willis then so be it!

Clare Farnsworth has an article on the bond between Red Bryant and Brandon Mebane. I love Clare's work, but I am sometimes reticent to link to him since he works for the Seahawks. Then I read his stuff and realize that he's still one of the best, screw objectivity! My favorite part (Red Bryant just referred to his father-in-law Jacob Green as "Mr. Green) :
“I got to. I got to,” said Red, who wears the same number (79) that his father-in-law made famous. “It’s a sign of respect, and I can’t tell you how much I respect that man. He’s a great man.”
