Well, I attended practice yet again today and through the off-and-on rain was able to see a few things though, admittedly, I probably had the worst field view of the three times I've been out there.

  • First things first, Aaron Curry looked fantastic in one-on-one blitz pick-up drills. He basically bowled over his blocker all four times and looked like he would have gotten to the QB pretty easily. He looked decent in TE coverage drills, but he did manage to keep Carlson stuck at the line for a second or two. Still practicing with the second team.
  • TJ Houshmandzadeh and Courtney Taylor sat out practice and were not in pads. I'm not sure why.
  • Jordan Kent had a couple more nice grabs and Mike Hass had at least one. Payne looked so-so, and Obamanu looked fine.
  • Hasselbeck didn't look great today, but Teel looked better.
All in all, not a whole lot to report. Much more than that though. I'll be back later with better details I imagine. Unger looked good today!

Housh was participating at the begining of practice with the other WR's but was out for the 11 on 11 drills.

The best part of the one on one's with Curry was when he blew threw Forset and the crowd cheered again Forset waved his finger and asked to get another chance to block Curry. Coaches and Curry obliged and Curry blew threw him again but it was great to see Forset step up.

The only other notable part of the one on ones was how much better a blocker Carlson is than the other TE's.

Quote of the day was some guy helled to Nate B. that he was going to pick him in the first round of his fantasy draft and Nate cooly said between drinks that he wouldnt let him down.

If Aaron Curry can give us that kind of performance over the next season, we are going to be a strong defense!

I really believe that he was a great selection.
