Drew Rosenhaus has tweeted that the Seahawks have signed Cornerback Travis Fisher to a one year deal. Sando just reported it on his NFC West Blog.
Fisher played from 2002 until 2006 with the Rams and then spent the last two years with the Lions. He was drafted in round 2 (64th overall) by the Rams in 2002. I assume that he's insurance in case Trufant's injury is more serious than first suggested. The Seahawks were below the league average in the numbers of defensive backfield players they were carrying in camp before Trufant got injured.
