Reports out of everywhere are saying that Brett "America's Sweetheart" Favre will sign with the Minnesota Vikings today. It's reported to be a one year, $12 million contract. Sound off below.
Update: Okay, maybe I was a bit harsh. Still, I used to be a big fan of Favre, but he's demolishing his legacy as the "nice guy," the "team player," and all the other stuff we were led to believe. He has made himself look like a selfish prima donna with a huge chip on his shoulder. He hates the Packers, but why? He retired, they named a successor, and then he expected them to just stop everything and let him back. It's a joke. Now he's signing with the Packers' biggest adversary just to stick it to him. He's one of the best QBs of all time, but come on. Your time is done, Brett.
[UPDATE: Favre has now officially signed with the Vikings, although the terms of the deal have not been released. All together now: aaaand the Brett came back, the very next day . . . -Ed.]
