OFFENSE:

Um, wow, that was... fun. Knapp came out with shotguns blarin' and it ended with an incredibly productive opening drive with three third down conversions.

The Seahawks lead 7-0 after going pass, pass, run, pass, pass, run, pass (or something like that). The offensive line was noticeably strong, giving Matt about forty five minutes in the pocket. The Hawks also tried a little trick play, an end-around to Deion Branch who tossed it about 5 yards short of a wide-open Deon Butler. For those not watching the Twitter feed, Butler started at Split End.

DEFENSE:

Wow, as good as the offense looked, the defense was just as bad. The Broncos have a good offensive line, but there was pretty much no penetration the entire drive as the tackles got manhandled and controlled. Hope my Mebane jersey isn't jinxing him?

The Broncos marched down the field helped along by a 26 yard screen pass to Eddie Royal, with a nice downfield tackle by Darryl Tapp. That was pretty much the only pleasant thing on the drive from our defense.

and not getting better. Didn't wan to see starters getting so owned.
Denver and Mr. Orton

Look really good. Their O-line is giving Orton a chance to throw some good balls.
DEON BUTLER!

Deon Butler is a STUD!
OUCH!

Can anyone say we have O-line problems. Lockler is having a difficult time over on the leftside. Not good.
Kyle Orton looks like a star!

Just before half and either you shouldn't count on a hight draft choice out of Denver or you should count on one from us. One or the other.

Denver looks good, We suck, suck, suck!

it seems our first round pick will be much higher than the Bronco's.

Timmy, you are on your way out.

Welcome back GM Holmgren.

I wasn't aware that Ruskell was suited up today. How has he affected this game?

Oh, I get it. He injured Jones, Trufant, Curry, and Burleson right?

Goal line stand followed by go ahead drive. Now that's more like it Seahawks.

It's the crap between the first and last drive that is of concern. I think we miss some guys starting with a qualified left tackle. I'm more sure than ever that Locklear will lead us to disaster if Walt can't play. We also miss Trufant big time. The secondary can't cope when our pass rush isn't good (like when they're going against a very good offensive line).

Also, I wonder if the reason our running game isn't happening is because we're new at the ZBS and the Denver defense practices daily against one of the best if not the best ZBS offensive lines in the game. Something to think about.
Who was it?

I was grabbing a beer when Hasselbeck went down for his 3rd sack. Who allowed the DT through? Was it Spencer?

SF Hawk,

I'll be remembering. After Mora wins the West again, I'm sure Allen will want to go back to the guy who left the team with a 4 - 12 record. That makes such good sense.

Ruskell will be the GM for a long time. I'd be willing to wager on that.
